Abadi MerwassFitness Specialist


    Abadi has became a certified fitness personal training specialist as well as UofT Kinesiology graduate owing to his passion in human kinetics, science of exercise and sport, and manual therapy to promote healthy lifestyle as forms of alternative medicine.

    Abadi started to be active since he started breakdancing over 8 years ago and became fascinated with what human bodies are capable of doing. Abadi’s speciality circles around on-floor posture and specific movement assessment and effectively delivering cues for safe exercise performance to prevent potential MSK injuries. For the last three years, Abadi has been applying his knowledge of fitness principles by efficiently designing fitness programs that target strength, muscle growth or endurance components according to individualized goals and challenges. Additionally, Abadi has been increasingly developing HITT/circuit training programs, whether it is a short 30 minute high intensity or 45 moderate intensity for full body in order to optimally reach desired level of fun and intensity along with burning calories.

    • His classes are amazing! They've motivated me to stick to the gym regularly! They're fun, challenging and overall a great time! The guidance from Eddy is great, if you have questions or aren't getting something right he's there to guide you in the right direction. The classes can be pretty intense at times but it definitely pushes you to different levels. As far as personal training he's the best trainer I've ever had. He has taught me so much, the one on one time was very prepared and also very challenging. Eddy pushed me to levels I didn't know I had and continues to do so. I always recommend him to anyone that asks me!
