    biography

Dr. Tim Rindlisbacher is an experienced leader in sports medicine who draws upon his background in physiotherapy and many years of consultant and team care sports medicine. “Dr. Tim” headed up the Sports Health Department of Cleveland Clinic Canada (downtown Toronto) for 14 years. He has acted as team physician for the Toronto Raptors, Toronto Argonauts, Buffalo Bills, Canada’s World Juniors, and teams in the Ontario Hockey League (for 23+ seasons). He has also been a clinical educator to University of Toronto medical students and residents for over 20 years.

Dr. Tim has been a consultant to the NHLPA since 2009 and was recently named Chief Medical Officer for the Ontario Hockey Federation and Intercounty Baseball League. Ultimately, Dr. Tim’s professional goals are not just to keep high level athletes “in the game” but also to promote healthy active lifestyles for everyone. He believes strongly that family physicians should be the centre of patient care so physician referrals are preferred.
