Karina BlancoFitness Specialst


    Karina was born in Holguin, Cuba in 1985 and grew up in La Havana, the capital city. From a young age, Karina knew she always had a real passion for health and fitness. Growing up, she was exposed to a variety of sports ranging from basketball & volleyball to boxing and weight lifting, but in university is where she became more involved in fitness. She studied Kinesiology at the University “Manuel Fajardo” for 5 years. Going for her dreams, she transformed her body in 2009 to compete in a National Bodybuilding Championship. Her determination, passion, positivity and dedication helped her win third place in the competition. Since 2010, Karina has pursued and obtained a series of certifications related to science and nutrition applied to bodybuilding practices and to improve one’s overall heath. She has worked with all age groups and is queen on empowering her clients with the knowledge and motivation in and outside the facility. Knowing how competitive is the fitness industry; she has challenged herself to attain another certification from IART as a fitness clinician. Karina’s passion for fitness, commitment to clients, relentless energy and strong belief in SMART goal setting, are the driving forces behind her success. She takes great satisfaction in enhancing the well being of her clients by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, support and resources to help create a healthier life and take full command of a proactive approach to heath care and obtaining their fitness goals. There is no greater feeling in the world than setting a goal, creating and executing a plan to reach it. Karina firmly believes that healthy living leads to happiness and fulfillment in life.

    • ​I started working out with Jenna about 9 months ago. If you 're like me and go to yoga, pilates, biking, dancing but just can't see yourself lifting weights, then you need Jenna! She pushes you enough to make you stronger but not discourage you from coming back. Plus she'll accommodate your schedule and play your favourite song to motivate you!

    • Earlier this year I made the decision to get healthier and stronger. I have issues with sciatica and needed someone who could understand my limitations. I signed up for 40 sessions with Jenna. After the first day I won't lie I wanted to sleep in a constant hot bath for weeks...this was after the first couple lol but Jenna would push me and text me. Jenna is a fantastic couch and motivator. She helps you get out of the workout funk and understands when you need a week off to reset. She pushes you hard at the gym but I promise you she is doing it because she knows the results you will get. My but has never looked so good and I am very impressed with the weight I can lift/leg press. This is all thanks to Jenna. If you really want a change I HIGHLY suggest you see her.
