Matthew BallantyneFitness Specialist

    biography

My name is Matthew Ballantyne, and I’ve been involved in the fitness industry as an instructor since 2014. I have always used personal fitness as a way to maintain mental and physical structure and balance in my life. In my early twenties, a love of cycling introduced me to the world of spin, and I became a spin instructor. I continued to explore different group fitness specialties, including JOGA, HIIT, calisthenics, conditioning and ultimately fell in love with martial arts.

Having discovered my passion for martial arts so late in life, I believe anyone can accomplish their fitness goals regardless of age or current fitness level. Whether you’re looking to learn a handstand, how to deadlift your bodyweight, or cycle to Montreal, I have confidence that I can support you on your fitness journey. Seeing someone experience a breakthrough or discover new fitness skills is one of my favorite aspects of being a personal trainer.

    • I have been working with Eddy for almost a year and a half now. He has given me the tools to improve my flexibility strength and overall better health. I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve and get back on the court or what ever sport you wish to play. He knows how to make that happen!
